PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body side part structure that can improve collision performance by optimizing a load transmission when a side collision load is inputted to a vehicle, surely protect a pretensioner sensor and prevent a retractor and the pretensioner sensor from malfunctioning and breaking down.SOLUTION: The vehicle body side part structure comprises: a pair of left and right pillars 2 and 2 extended vertically in a side part of a vehicle body; center bulks 3 arranged behind a seat of a vehicle and extended in a vehicle width direction between the pair of pillars 2 and 2; a recessed part 3A, provided in the center bulk 3, in which is arranged a retractor 5 for a seat belt; and a gusset 4 arranged above or below the recessed part 3A and joined to the pillars 2 and the center bulk 3. The retractor 5 comprises a pretensioner sensor 52, and the gusset 4 comprises an extended part 4A extended toward the recessed part 3A and lapped on a front face side of the pretensioner sensor 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
