PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure installed at a root of a column erected on a sidewalk or a driveway for preventing urination by animals, without hindering walking.SOLUTION: A structure for preventing urination by animals includes: a receiving frame 13 installed at an edge of a recess 12 around a root of a column; a perforated panel 1 having a hole for inserting the root of the column and a grid-form structure surrounding the root of the column and fitted on the receiving frame 13; and an installation metal fitting 18 fitted on an anchor 8 along with a base plate 7 fixed at a bottom edge of the column, the anchor being buried underground and the installation metal fitting supporting the receiving frame 13. The installation metal fitting 18 has adjustment means for adjusting a height of the receiving frame 13, and adjusts the height of the receiving frame 13 to suit an inclination of a sidewalk.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
