摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce an operation sound of a high-pressure pump while satisfying a constraint of an energization period of an electromagnetic part.SOLUTION: A high-pressure pump 20 comprises a plunger 22 which can vary a volume of a pressurization chamber 25, and a metering valve 30 which provides and blocks fuel supply to the pressurization chamber 25 by moving a valve body by switching of energization and non-energization to a coil 42. An ECU 50 comprises a plurality of sound reducing means which are implemented at a plurality of points in time at which an operation sound is generated in one opening/closing period of a valve body 31 if a predetermined operational condition is satisfied, and reduce the operation sound by changing an energization period of the coil 42 to an increase side with respect to a normal time at each of the plurality of points in time. In the case that all of the plurality of sound reducing means are to be implemented, the ECU determines whether or not the necessary energization period to the coil 42 in one opening/closing period exceeds a preset upper limit value, and when determining that the period exceeds the preset upper limit value, selects and implements some of the plurality of sound reducing means within a range in which the necessary energization period does not exceed the upper limit value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
