PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure that if, when document data is provided in page units from a server to a client, a user performs editing or a search on a specific page of the document data provided from the server, the same operation is automatically reflected for the remaining pages left in the server too.SOLUTION: A client 10 transmits information pertaining to the content of operation and received pages to a document server 12 when an editing or a search operation is executed on received document data 16 and the operation could affect the remaining pages of the document data 16 stored in the document server 12 and not transmitted yet. The document server 12 receives the information pertaining to the content of operation and received pages, executes the same operation on remaining pages, and transmits the remaining pages to the client 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
