PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle position detector which can accurately calculate a vehicle position.SOLUTION: A vehicle position detector comprises: a wheel speed acquisition unit which acquires a wheel speed of the wheel according to wheel rotation of the vehicle; a slip detection unit which detect slip of the wheel; a vehicle body speed calculation unit which calculates, when slip is not detected, a vehicle body speed that is speed of a vehicle body of the vehicle on the basis of the acquired wheel speed, corrects, when slip is detected, the acquired wheel speed on the basis of correction information, and calculates the vehicle body speed on the basis of the corrected wheel speed; and a position calculation unit which calculates a vehicle position on the basis of the vehicle body speed depending on existence of slip.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
