PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to use in common motors having a different number of motor pole pairs.SOLUTION: A position information output device acquires one signal in each of sections obtained by dividing one signal of three or more signals respectively output according to the rotation angles of motors from three or more Hall elements, at a timing at which the other two signals cross the one signal, from each of the three or more signals; compares the signal levels of the acquired signals with a plurality of threshold levels, and creates an encoding signals indicating the rotation position of the motors on the basis of a timing at which the signal levels sequentially cross over the plurality of threshold levels according to a result of the comparison; and selects, as the plurality of threshold levels, any one of the first number of threshold levels and the second number of threshold levels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
