PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic material having a characteristic of higher permeability and lower magnetic loss at a high frequency area.SOLUTION: The magnetic material includes a plurality of flat particles 10 containing magnetic metal, and matrix phases 12 arranged around the float particles and having higher electric resistance than the flat particles. At the cross sectional area of the magnetic material, the aspect ratio of a flat particle is 10 or more. When the major axis of the flat particle is denoted by L, and the length of a straight line connecting two end points of the flat particle is denoted by W, a ratio of an area surrounding an outer periphery 14 of a portion formed by continuously stacking the flat particles satisfying W≤0.95×L to the area of the cross sectional area is 10% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
