PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defective pixel interpolation device capable of further improving a precision of reproduction by interpolating a defective pixel even without packaging a line memory.SOLUTION: A reproduction part 17c enlarges weights to be added to densities of right and left pixels neighboring to the defective pixel as a ratio of a differential absolute value from a median value of a density range in pixels, for the densities of the neighboring pixels with respect to a density difference between the neighboring pixels becomes greater. The reproduction part 17c then reproduces an image while defining a sum of densities adding the weights of the right and left neighboring pixels as a density of the defective pixel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
