PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication method with low security risk, and an authentication apparatus.SOLUTION: An authentication method includes the steps of: receiving information on an authentication information input device connected to a user terminal, from the user terminal; calculating a risk level of an access request, on the basis of access history of a user; determining at random the number and the kind of authentication information to be used for user authentication, on the basis of the number of authentication information registered for the user, information on the authentication information input device connected to the user terminal, and the risk level, and creating an authentication screen to be transmitted to the user terminal; and acquiring authentication information input by the user via the authentication information input device and shown in the authentication screen, from the user terminal, and collating the acquired authentication information with the registered authentication information, to authenticate the user on the basis of a collation result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
