The present invention relates to a cooker and to a control method thereof. The present invention corrects the image of the foodstuff scanned by an image sensor to prevent the image from being distorted by a lamp. Consequently, the present invention has advantages in that a user can recognize the cooking state of the foodstuff being cooked in a cooking chamber in a more accurate manner.
