PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage system capable of, even when a temporary access load increase or line failure occurs, continuing replication securing an update order without deteriorating the access performance of a logical disk.SOLUTION: A storage system includes: a first master storage for storing user data including an update journal; a second master storage duplicated by software with the first master storage; a remote storage for storing user data transferred from the first master storage or the second master storage; and a master host for independently executing control to update the update journals stored in the first master storage and the second master storage and control to transfer the updated update journal from either the first master storage or the second master storage to a remote host.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
