PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen separation device and hydrogen separation method which can efficiently separate hydrogen at a low temperature of less than 300°C.SOLUTION: A hydrogen separation device comprises a hydrogen separation film that is one of a palladium film and a palladium alloy film comprising an element component other than palladium, and heating means that separates hydrogen by heating the hydrogen separation film at a temperature less than 300°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
