PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power used for activated sludge treatment by a membrane separation activated sludge treatment apparatus.SOLUTION: A membrane separation activated sludge treatment apparatus includes, in an activated sludge treatment tank 1, an air diffuser 2, a membrane separation device 3, and a propeller type underwater stirrer 4. The air diffuser 2 and the membrane separation device 3 are arranged with a horizontal distance therebetween. The activated sludge treatment tank 1 is divided into an area accommodating the air diffuser 2 and an area accommodating the membrane separation device 3 by a baffle plate 5. The two areas communicate with each other above and below the baffle plate 5. The propeller type underwater stirrer 4 is arranged above the membrane separation device 3. A propeller portion of the propeller type underwater stirrer 4, a space above the propeller portion, and a space between the propeller portion and an upper end of the membrane separation device 3 are surrounded by a water flow guide 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
