PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas circuit breaker which improves a smooth exhaustion performance inside and outside of an operation rod.SOLUTION: In a gas circuit breaker 1, a movable contactor part 20 and an opposite contactor part 10 are disposed oppositely within a sealed container 2 filled with an arc-extinguishing gas, and the movable contactor part 20 and the opposite contactor part 10 are contacted to or isolated from each other in the case of throwing-in or breaking. In the process of isolation, the arc-extinguishing gas that is heated by re-ignited arc discharge is exhausted through an exhaust flow channel 26 that is provided inside of an operation rod 25. On a peripheral surface of the operation rod 25, an exhaust hole 28 that communicates the inside and the outside of the operation rod 25 is formed and within the operation rod 25, a flow guide 27 that guides the arc-extinguishing gas to the exhaust hole 28 is provided. The flow guide 27 includes a tapered surface which enters a cut area of the exhaust hole 28 and extends and of which the diameter is enlarged until becoming flush with an outer peripheral surface of the operation rod 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
