PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel structure and a renovation method therefor that facilitate renovation and partial replacement if deterioration caused by material degradation and alteration caused by ground pressure and other external forces take place in future in a secondary lining of a new tunnel.SOLUTION: A tunnel structure 10 includes: a primary timbering 16 installed to cover a crown part 12 and a side part 14 of a tunnel excavation surface in a circumferential direction S; a secondary lining 18 laid on an inner side of the primary timbering 16; and an invert work 22 connected to an edge part 18a in the circumferential direction S of the secondary lining 18 and installed at a bottom part 20 of the tunnel excavation surface. An axial force reducing member 24 is installed between the edge part 18a of the secondary lining 18 and an edge part 22a of the invert work 22, the axial force reducing member supporting an axial force in the circumferential direction S exerted on the secondary lining 18 at normal times and being compressed and deformed by the axial force at a time of renovation of the secondary lining 18 for reducing the axial force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1-1 |
