PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light-emitting element having high durability against water, and a long element life.SOLUTION: In an organic light-emitting element having a positive electrode and a negative electrode, a luminous layer arranged between the positive electrode and a negative electrode, a first organic compound layer arranged between the negative electrode and luminous layer, and a second organic compound layer arranged between the first organic compound layer and negative electrode, the first organic compound layer has an organic compound and an alkaline metal or an alkaline-earth metal, the second organic compound layer has an organic compound and an alkaline metal or an alkaline-earth metal, and the alkaline metal or alkaline-earth metal of the second organic compound layer has a concentration gradient where the concentration decreases in a direction from the positive electrode toward negative electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
