The publication describes a slide casting machine 17, moveable in relation to the casting mould, for the manufacture of concrete elements, especially hollow elements. The slide casting machine comprises a feed hopper 1, at least one feeder 2, especially a feed screw, for creating pressure in the cast concrete, and at least one core mandrel 3, 4 for forming the required cross- section in the element. The slide casting machine according to the invention comprises an arrangement consisting of at least one shaped mandrel core part 3, which performs a periodic, combined reciprocating movement, which consists of a rotational and a longitudinal component, for producing a compressive cutting action of the concrete mix inside the mould chamber. The slide casting machine according to the invention is well-suited to use in the manufacture of elongated profiles of low noise and vibration level. <IMAGE> |
