PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the keying lifetime of a push-button switch of which the key top part is being supported on a base part by a dome part.SOLUTION: A pusher part is formed from a harder material than that of the key top part. Alternatively, a recess is provided in the key top part, and a member formed from a harder material than that of the key top part is inserted therein. Even if a pressing load is applied after on-stroke in which the pusher part reaches a substrate electrode, a bending amount is small for the pusher part that is formed from the harder material than that of the key top part or for the member inserted into the recess, and a full stroke becomes small. When the bending amount becomes small, a stress to be applied to the thin dome part by iterative keying can be reduced, the dome part can be prevented from being damaged, and the keying lifetime of the push-button switch is prolonged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
