PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct an image position surely and easily even when a device condition causing positional deviation of a sheet is varied.SOLUTION: When an automatic adjustment mode is selected (S100), a control part determines whether or not, pulling of a sheet feeding tray from a sheet feeding device body is detected, for example (S140). When pulling of the sheet feeding tray is detected, it is determined whether or not, the sheet feeding tray is inserted into the sheet feeding device body (S160). The control part executes the automatic adjustment mode (S170), because when the sheet feeding tray is inserted into the sheet feeding device body, positional deviation of the sheet may occur due to insertion of the sheet feeding tray. In the automatic adjustment mode, after detecting sheet end positions of plural sheets, a central value of an image correction range is calculated based on a differential value of an average value of the detected sheet end positions and a preset sheet end position for reference, and then substitutes a central value of an image correction range before calculation to the calculated central value of the image correction range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
