PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor device which allows a component to be commonalized between a type with a balustrade illumination and a type without a balustrade illumination and allows efficiency in work for mounting the balustrade illuminations.SOLUTION: The passenger conveyor device, equipped with footsteps arranged endlessly, a balustrade (3) erected along a moving direction of the foot steps, and an endless handrail 4 supported to the balustrade (3) which moves in the same direction as the footsteps, comprises a frame part member 7 that is provided to be commonalized between a type with a balustrade illumination and a type without a balustrade illumination respectively, fastened to an upper part of the balustrade (3), protruded toward the side opposing to the foot steps of the balustrade (3) and extended along the moving direction of the footsteps. A balustrade illumination unit 8 which is attached detachably to the frame member 7 has a predetermined length dimension along the moving direction of the footsteps, and an upper part of the unit comprises a cover member 9 that can be fitted to the frame member 7. An illumination body (12), a fastening bracket 14 that fastens the illumination body (12) to the cover member 9 and a wiring material 15 that supplies electricity to the illumination body (12) are previously incorporated in the cover member 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
