PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a structure of a barrel part 22 in a terminal fitting 2 for a Litz wire 1, to easily discharge exfoliated scum of an insulation coating of enamel or the like and a combustion gas of the insulation coating during jab immersion in a solder tub, to prevent a core wire from being projected and disconnected during temporary fixture (crimping), and to reduce connection resistance between the terminal fitting 2 and the Litz wire 1.SOLUTION: The Litz wire 1 is configured by covering a core wire 11 with a sheath 12. The terminal fitting 2 includes the barrel part 22 for temporarily fixing a core wire 11 of the Litz wire 1 by crimping. The barrel part 22 is configured as an open barrel type in which two barrel fragments 22A and 22B are caulked inside. A width L1 of abutment parts 22A1 and 22B1 which are abutted to each other, of the barrel fragments 22A and 22B in a direction of a Litz wire axis P is made narrower than a full width W of the barrel part 22 in the direction of the Litz wire axis P, and a gap part 222 in which a part of the core wire 11 is exposed is provided. The exfoliated scum of the enamel and the combustion gas are discharged from the gap part 222.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
