Provided is a method for manufacturing a deodorizing material, whereby a deodorizing material having excellent deodorizing performance can easily be obtained. This method for manufacturing a deodorizing material is a method for manufacturing a deodorizing material having a breathable substrate, a porous adsorbent, and a binder for bonding the porous adsorbent to the breathable substrate, and the method includes the following steps: a step for adding a water-soluble polymer to a slurry including the porous adsorbent, a step for mixing the slurry including the water-soluble polymer, a step for adding the binder to the mixed slurry, and a step for applying the slurry including the binder to the breathable substrate. |
