An image forming device (1) is provided with: an image supporting medium (7) that is provided rotatably and on the surface of which is formed a toner image; a rotating brush (41) in contact with the surface of the image supporting medium (7), after the toner image has been transferred to transfer paper, for collecting residue adhering to the surface; a recovery roller (42) for removing the residue collected by the rotating brush (41); and a cleaning blade (43) for scraping off the residue recovered by the recovery roller (42). Letting A be the maximum width of a toner image forming region on the image supporting medium (7), B be the total width of the rotating brush (41), C be the total width of the recovery roller (42), and D be the total width of the cleaning blade (43), the relational equation A < B < D < C is established. |
