A method for processing motion data by using sampling is disclosed. Disclosed is a configuration for determining a type of a frame to be sub-sampled; differently deciding a rate of sub-sampling in accordance with the type of the frame; and restoring an image by using the decided rate of sub-sampling. In addition, disclosed is a configuration for determining a type of a frame to be restored, differently deciding a rate of motion data restoration in accordance with the type of the frame, and restoring motion data by using the decided rate of motion data restoration.
