PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar water heater for collecting solar heat through a rotational reflection plate and preventing radiation loss as a coated cover when no collection of solar heat is carried out.SOLUTION: Both sides of a frame 22 around a calorifier are provided with a pair of symmetrical first reflector plate 24 and second reflector plate 26 and a pair of symmetrical rotary driving units 32, 32'. A sunlight tracking controller 34 controls each of the rotary driving units in response to an irradiation direction of the sunlight and reflects the sunlight onto heat exchanging pipes 202 of the calorifier main body. Back-surfaces of the first reflector plate and the second reflector plate are provided with heat insulation layers 28 and protection covers 30 in sequence. When no sunlight is present due to rainy or cloudy weather, the first and second reflector plates are simultaneously driven and rotated to cover above the main body of the calorifier and closed together to prevent its damage caused by external environmental elements or influence of thermal radiation and further extend its life of use.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2A |
