This method for producing a water-absorbent polymer sheet having a degree of haze of 8% or less using a roll-to-roll method has: a step in which the water content of a photocurable resin composition containing a (meth)acrylamide quaternary ammonium salt monomer of formula (1) is adjusted to 5-40 mass%; a step in which a water-containing photocurable film is formed by coating said photocurable resin composition on a support sheet that is drawn out from an unwinding roll; a step in which a water-absorbent polymer sheet is formed by irradiating said water-containing photocurable film with UV rays and photocuring said film; and a step in which said sheet is wound into a take-up roll.
