PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power management system and power management method capable of stably supplying power from a storage battery even when power is tight, while mitigating the storage battery's deterioration without increasing rated capacity of the storage battery.SOLUTION: A power management system for controlling output of a storage battery on the basis of generation power generated by a power generator and purchase power supplied from a commercial power system includes: a threshold determination unit for determining a threshold for determining whether or not to make the storage battery discharge electricity; and a storage battery control unit for inhibiting the storage battery from discharging electricity when acquired load power is equal to or lower than the threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
