PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel motor drive which enhances the sealing properties of the mating surfaces of the motor housing and the rear cover.SOLUTION: In an in-wheel motor drive (21) including a motor section (A) and a wheel hub bearing (C), a casing (22) that forms the outline of the in-wheel motor drive (21) includes a cylindrical motor housing (22a), and a rear cover (22d) closing the opening end of the motor housing (22a), and the outer edge of the mating surfaces of the motor housing (22a) and rear cover (22d) is filled entirely with liquid gasket.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
