摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch mechanism capable of reducing its size and weight, and capable of reducing its power consumption and cost.SOLUTION: A clutch mechanism includes an anode plate 10 and a cathode plate 12 arranged oppositely in a surface direction, and a dielectric member 14 covering at least a surface of the cathode plate 12 opposite to the anode plate 10. When voltage is applied between the anode plate 10 and the cathode plate 12, the dielectric member 14 adsorbs to the anode plate 10, and when the voltage applied between the anode plate 10 and the cathode plate 12 is released, the dielectric member 14 recovers to its original thickness, and thereby clutch action is performed by separating the anode plate 10 and the cathode plate 12 containing the dielectric member 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
