The present invention provides a block copolymer hydride which is obtained by hydrogenating a block copolymer (C) that is composed of two polymer blocks (A) mainly composed of a repeating unit (I) derived from an aromatic vinyl compound and one polymer block (B) mainly composed of the repeating unit (I) and a repeating unit (II) derived from a chain conjugated diene compound, and wherein: if wA is the weight fraction of the polymer blocks (A) and wB is the weight fraction of the polymer block (B) in the block copolymer (C), (wA:wB) is from 45:55 to 65:35; if w(IB) is the weight fraction of the repeating unit (I) and w(IIB) is the weight fraction of the repeating unit (II) in the polymer block (B), (w(IB): w(IIB)) is from 40:60 to 55:45; 90% or more of all the unsaturated bonds in the block copolymer (C) is hydrogenated; the weight average molecular weight thereof is 60,000-150,000; and the lower side glass transition temperature (Tg1) thereof is 0°C or more and the higher side glass transition temperature (Tg2) thereof is 135°C or more as determined by dynamic viscoelasticity. The present invention also provides a stretched film which is formed from this block copolymer hydride. |
