PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device in which focusing operation with high accuracy is achieved.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: a focus lens; an imaging unit that images a subject image formed through the focus lens and generates image data; and a control unit that calculates a value relating to a focus position on the basis of a first image data generated by the imaging unit when the focus lens is located at a first position and a second image data generated by the imaging unit when the focus lens is located at a second position to which the focus lens is moved from the first position by a first moving amount, and changes a next moving amount of the focus lens from the first moving amount on the basis of the calculation result of the value relating to the focus position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
