The present invention provides a timing controller which prevents a user from detecting a screen abnormality even when input data is inputted with abnormal timing. The timing controller includes: a fail mode determination unit which receives an input signal and determines, based on the input signal, whether or not an organic light emitting display device operates in a fail mode; a fail mode generation unit which stores a fail signal to be outputted when the organic light emitting display device operates in the fail mode, and selectively outputs the input signal or a fail signal based on whether or not the organic light emitting display device operates in the fail mode; and a fail mode control unit which stores a conversion signal outputted in the fail mode generation unit and re-outputs the conversion signal of a previous frame when the organic light emitting display device operates in the fail mode.
