PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform automatic determination of a radiation direction of an illumination device.SOLUTION: An imaging system comprises: an illumination device capable of automatically driving a movable part including a light emission part for changing a radiation direction of the light emission part; and an imaging device. The imaging system includes operation means for receiving operations capable of starting performance for automatically determining the radiation direction of the light emission part; and control means for controlling whether or not to automatically determine the radiation direction of the light emission part in accordance with the operations. The control means controls not to automatically determine the radiation direction of the light emission part in accordance with the operations when the imaging device is in a focused state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
