The invention relates to an injection valve (1) for injecting fluid into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, comprising an injector body (2) having a fluid inlet (3) and a fluid outlet, as well as a nozzle body (4) having a cavity (5) which is hydraulically coupled to said fluid inlet (3). In said cavity (5), a nozzle needle (6) is arranged such that it can move axially, said nozzle needle (6) preventing fluid from flowing through an injection opening (7) of the nozzle body (4) when in a closure position but otherwise leaving this exposed. A control chamber (8) is also provided which is hydraulically coupled to said fluid inlet (3), fluid outlet and nozzle needle (6). Said injection valve (1) comprises a control valve (9) having a valve body (10) and a valve chamber (11) hydraulically coupled to said control chamber (8), said valve chamber (11) being able to be hydraulically coupled to the fluid outlet depending on whether the valve body (10) is in a closure position. In addition, an actuator (12) is provided which is coupled to the valve body (10) for the purpose of actuating the control valve (9), said valve body (10) additionally being coupled to the control chamber (8) directly such that a force component dependent on a pressure prevailing in said control chamber (8) can be transmitted to the valve body (10). |
