The invention relates to compositions that are liquid at 20 °C containing at least 90 wt% ammonium salts of secondary paraffin sulfonic acids of the general formula (A), where m and n are mutually independent integers from 0 to 18, and the sum of m+n has a value between 8 and 18, q is 1 or 2, R1 is a linear or branched alkyl group with 2 to 4 carbon atoms or a linear or branched alkylene group with 2 or 3 carbon atoms, which is terminally substituted by a further -NH(R2)(R3) group, R2 is hydrogen, -CH3 or -C2H5, and R3 is hydrogen or -CH3. The compositions are have no water or are at least low in water content, are liquid at room temperature, have a low viscosity and high water solubility, and have very good application as laundry detergents and cleaning agents. |
