Disclosed is a method for constructing a bilateral power conversion system (PCS). An objective of the present invention is to provide a modular bilateral PCS which connects a required number of power modules in parallel to increase a PCS capacity to a desired level, and allows only a faulty power module to be replaced if the PCS fails to simplify maintenance and repair and reduce maintenance and repair costs. According to the present invention, the modular bilateral PCS comprises a power module as illustrated in Figure 2 to operate the modular bilateral PCS without power interruptions. |
