The present invention relates to a steering lock apparatus for a vehicle, more specifically, which comprises: a housing accommodating a cam shaft to be rotated therein, and extending to the outer circumference of a steering column; a latch stopper arranged within the housing to be interlocked with the cam shaft; a latch pin interlocked with the latch stopper, and sliding to be attached to and detached from a lock groove formed in the outer circumference of the steering column; and a connection gear unit arranged within the housing, wherein one side is geared to the latch stopper, and the other side is geared to the latch pin, thereby connecting the latch stopper and the latch pin to be moved in a different straight line direction when the cam shaft is rotated. Thus, structural properties can be simplified, and the number of assembly components can be reduced. |
