An adapter for reducing the inner diameter of a core (3) of a roll comprises a first part (1) and a second part (2) arranged coaxially inside the core. The first adapter part comprises an inner bore (4) for receiving a spindle of a machine, the second part comprises an outer cylindrical surface (7) for fitting on the inside of the core,and the first and second adapter part comprises a common conical surface (6, 8) along which the first and second adapter part are guided when pressed against each other. |
