Provided are an electromagnetic valve that makes it possible to reduce the number of valves used, to reduce the size of the device, and to reduce manufacturing costs, and a compact and inexpensive inkjet recording device. The electromagnetic valve has a first end section that has a plurality of fluid channels that can be connected externally, a second end section that has a plurality of fluid channels that can be connected externally and that is disposed opposite the first end section, and a switching mechanism that opens and closes the fluid channels formed in the first and second end sections. The valve is characterized by the fact that when the valve is not in operation, the switching mechanism opens some of the fluid channels among the fluid channels formed in the first end section and closes some of the fluid channels among the fluid channels formed in the second end section, and that when the valve is in operation, the switching mechanism closes some of the open fluid channels among the fluid channels formed in the first end section and opens some of the closed fluid channels among the fluid channels formed in the second end section. |
