1. A projection display apparatus comprising:
an enclosure having a bottom surface portion, the bottom surface portion having a ventilation groove, an air inlet formed through a wall of the ventilation groove and a bottom surface body, the bottom surface portion body including a lid attachment recess; a lid attachable to the lid attachment recess and detachable from the bottom surface portion body, the bottom surface portion body and the lid are substantially coplanar when the lid is attached to the lid attachment recess; and the lid and lid attachment recess forming the ventilation groove, wherein the lid has a filter attachment portion to which a filter is attached.
