The present invention provides a flat cable for movable portion wiring that is capable of preventing, even without fixing to a cableveyor, both end portions facing each other through a bent portion from drooping for gravity during repeated U-shaped bending of a fabric-shaped cable and maintaining a high level of pliability or flexibility unique to the fabric-shaped cable as long as possible. A flat cable (100) for movable portion wiring is provided with a fabric-shaped cable (101) and a tubular coating member (102) in which the fabric-shaped cable (101) is accommodated. The fabric-shaped cable (101) is provided with a plurality of wires (103) arranged in parallel and a fiber thread (104) woven to provide sewing between the plurality of wires (103). The tubular coating member (102) has a C-shaped cross-section that has a cut part (115) in a cross-sectional view.
