The present invention relates to a mobile terminal which can receive a touch input by a touch pen, and a control method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the mobile terminal comprises: a display unit for receiving a touch input; and a control unit for distinguishing whether the touch input is performed by the touch pen or a hand motion of a user, outputting an object drawn by the touch pen to the display unit when the touch input is performed by the touch pen, and performing a preset control operation when the touch input is performed by the hand motion of the user. |
