The present invention relates to a system and a method for balancing a battery cell by using LC resonance, capable of minimizing a power loss of a circuit by performing a zero voltage switching operation. The battery cell balancing system comprises: a driving unit including one or more battery cells connected in series, a resonant module for performing a resonant operation, and a switch unit provided to transfer an electric charge stored inside the resonant module to each of the battery cells; and a control unit for measuring a resonant period of the resonant module according to a voltage status of each of the battery cells, and transferring the electric charge which is charged inside the resonant module to each of the battery cells by controlling on and off operations of the switch unit according to the measured resonant period. |
