Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for controlling an isolated switch. The apparatus and the method for controlling an isolated switch according to the present invention, can reduce power consumption required for the luminescence of a light emitting diode (LED) by reducing the time for maintaining the luminescence of the LED and can improve durability of a system using the isolated switch by improving the lifespan of the isolated switch. For this, in the isolated switch such as a photo MOS relay, the LED included in the isolated switch is kept in an off state at ordinary times. The LED is controlled to be in an on state when an event is generated. |
