PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature controller for a fuel filter in which temperature of fuel is heated to a predetermined temperature.SOLUTION: A fuel filter device 2 comprises a heater 8. The heater 8 is provided on the upstream side of a filter element 21 and heats upstream fuel. The fuel filter device 2 comprises a temperature controller 9. The temperature controller 9 controls energization to the heater 8 in response to the temperature of downstream fuel. The temperature controller 9 comprises a temperature switch 31. The temperature switch 31 is provided near the heater 8. The temperature switch 31 is received in a case 35 which works as a heat insulation part. The temperature controller 9 transmits the temperature of downstream fuel to a temperature sensitive part 32 via a temperature sensitive member 41. The temperature controller 9 responding to the temperature of downstream fuel can heat the temperature of fuel around the filter element 21 to a desirable temperature. The temperature sensitive member 41 enables sensing of the temperature of downstream fuel while installing the temperature switch 31 near the heater 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
