[Class 46] A filtering or straining element consists of a cylinder a with longitudinal internal ribs b, the wall of which is divided by incisions into a number of rings, held together only by the ribs. The incisions may extend slightly into the ribs. As shown, the element is held between a disc f and ring g, both fixed to a shaft k which car be rotated by means of a handle m. Cleaning blades e, Fig. 3, can be soldered in incisions in a blade carrier d, which incisions have been cut by a multiple tool which serves for cutting the slots in the cylinder a. As shown, the edges e of the blades are inclined so as to deflect dirt particles outwards from the slots.
