The invention relates to a referee card (1), as is required for types of team sports, in particular ball sports. In large stadia having a large number of spectators, it has been shown to be disadvantageous that the referee cards (1) cannot be perceived from a greater distance. This problem exists in both daylight and under floodlights. In order to make the referee card (1) also clearly visible over greater distances, according to the invention at least one housing comprising a voltage source and control elements is used, wherein the housing has a display (3, 6) on the front side and the rear side, which display is provided for displaying a colour. The displays (3, 6) can in this case be visibly detected over long distances and also enable spectators who have been seated at a greater distance from the playing field to clearly identify the colour of the card and hence substantially better follow the game. Furthermore, the potential uses of the referee card (1) can be increased by the fact that a record of the most important decisions can be logged by manual input or speech input. |
