PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce leakage and frictional loss.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an inner contact type gear pump for forcedly feeding fluid. A driving surface 51 of an inner gear 22 and a driving surface 51 of an outer gear 24 are overlapped to each other in order to transmit torque from a gear driven to a gear not driven. A shape of the driving surface 51 of the inner gear and/or the outer gear is constituted in such a way that at least two teeth 21 of the inner gear and the outer gear are overlapped to each other and either a spacing or a free space is present among a plurality of teeth 21 of the inner gear 22 and a plurality of teeth 21 of the outer gear 24 at a tooth tip location 48.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
