PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable restriction against changing in a flow of air to be attained in an air cleaner caused by a position of a connected part.SOLUTION: An air cleaner 10 comprises a case 20 formed with an inlet 25 at a cylindrical circumferential wall 22 for directing toward a tangential direction; a cap 30 covering an opening at one end side of a peripheral wall 22; and a filter element 40 having a filter material 41 round into a cylindrical shape and having end portions in its peripheral direction connected to each other, both ends of the filter material 41 in its axial direction being sealed by end plates 44, 45 and stored in the case 20 and the cap 30. The case 20 is formed with an outlet 26 extending in an axial line of the filter element 40. The inner surface of the case 20 is provided with a salient 27 extending along an axial direction, and an outer peripheral edge of the downstream side end plate 45 is formed with a recess 47 into which the salient 27 is internally fitted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
