PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: water-absorbing resin particles which use as a raw material a water-absorbing resin derived from an organism such as cellulose, is prevented from formation of lumps, and has good water absorption towards an electrolyte aqueous solution; a method for producing water-absorbing resin particles; and an absorbing body.SOLUTION: The water-absorbing resin particles each comprises: a core particle containing a resin which comprises at least one selected from the group consisting of polysaccharides, derivatives of polysaccharides, alkali metal salts of polysaccharides, and alkali metal salts of derivatives of polysaccharides, and which has anionic functional groups; and a polymer having cationic functional groups, which is arranged on a surface of the core particle. At least a part of the anionic functional groups and a part of the cationic functional groups form an ionic bond.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
